FTTM ITB – Prof. Dr. Ir. Ridho Kresna Wattimena became one of the Keynote Speakers at the 2017 ISRM Young Scholars’ Symposium on Rock Mechanics (YSRM 2017) & 2017 International Conference on New Development in Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (NDRMGE 2017) – Challenges and Innovations in Rock Mechanics and Engineering Held on 10 – 13 May 2017 at Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel, Jeju, Korea.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Ridho Kresna Wattimena is a professor of rock mechanics and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering of Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. He has been lecturing rock mechanics and underground excavation stability subjects and supervising student theses at undergraduate, master, and doctoral levels. He has also been leading researches and consultations in the field of rock mechanics for mining industry and civil engineering projects. His interests are in the areas of experimental rock mechanics, rock mass characterisation, slope and underground openings design, and rock mechanics numerical modelling for stability analyses.
